The 40th IDA Documentary Awards will open submissions on Friday, June 21st, 2024 at 12pm PT. The IDA Documentary Awards is the world's most prestigious event dedicated to the documentary genre, celebrating the best nonfiction films and programs of the year. Please review the Rules and Regulations fully before beginning your entry.

Become an individual IDA member today at the Doc Maker level or higher to access discounted submission fees. If you prefer to submit without a membership, please create a new account on the submission platform.

If you are a current IDA member, please use your login information from documentary.org. All qualifying members have received their coupon codes via email.

Lapsed IDA members:

You can continue to use your login information from documentary.org here. However, your submission fees will not be discounted. We highly encourage you to rejoin the IDA family today!
